Please take care of yourself. Now let's get into the early life of Vernon Brown. Well, I'll tell you Vernon Brown was born on

October 1st, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the oldest of five children.

His mother was 15 years old when he was born,

and he never knew his father.

Vernon was raised in poverty, was physically and sexually abused, and may have been the product of an incestuous relationship between his grandfather and his mother.

Yeah, there's no confirmation that that's true, but that's a rumor.

Yeah. That has been said. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because his mother was often not around,

Vernon was largely reared by his grandparents. His grandfather George was stern and abusive, reportedly sexually molesting and severely

beating Vernon throughout his youth.

According to his later clemency application, quote, Vernon was chained naked and beaten with a switch, a belt, a buggy whip, and a bull whip.
