0:36.0	Nico Alan Jenkins was born on September 16th, 1986 in Colorado, but he was raised in Omaha. He has five sisters. His mother,
0:46.7	Lori Jenkins, was just 16 when she had her first child with her boyfriend
0:51.5	David McGee, who was 31 at the time so that's gross.
0:56.0	Yeah they never married according to Lori David beat her even when she was pregnant.
1:02.0	Both of Nico's parents were convicted of felonies during his childhood,
1:06.0	and he grew up watching them fight.
1:08.0	According to a court ordered evaluation, Nico Jenkinson's family home
1:12.0	was, quote, ripe with violence, alcohol and drug abuse,
1:16.1	and devoid of the very structure and social slash spiritual nourishments the child needs,
1:22.0	unquote.
1:23.0	Nico suffered substantial physical and verbal abuse from his parents, sisters, uncles, and cousins.
1:29.0	He was also sexually abused by a cousin.
1:32.0	He suffered from bedwetting, anxiety,
1:35.2	nightmares and night terrors due to the things that he was experiencing at home.
1:40.0	When Nico was seven years old, he took his mom's loaded gun to school and was detained.
1:45.7	He was subsequently removed from the home and put into foster care.
1:49.6	Nico was first admitted to a psychiatric institution at the age of eight for fighting and for suicidal ideation.
