I work with a snow surveyor. It's in California as well, so, you know, skiing in that country

measure snow, water content. Yeah, I'll do anything that'll pay me to be in that country

pretty much.

Right now we have less snow to date as we did in the driest year on record.

You know, whether that changes or not, time will tell. But right now we are drier than 1970,

the winter of 77, which is the driest winter on record. Yeah, normally we would have been

back kind of skiing for at least a month or sometimes two months, and yeah, there'd be,

you know, a good three or four foot pace at this point.

So are people freaking out this year?

I think a lot of people have been. I mean, certainly, you know, you got to respect the people

that, you know, their economy, their livelihood is based on snowfall. But then you've got the

people that, you know, that are going crazy because they think there's like nothing to do

in the back country. There's no back country skiing. And I mean, I'm a back country ski fanatic.

It's my passion. That's what I live for. But this is, I'm just telling them, this is such a

unique opportunity since I've been here since 1980. And I mean, we've had some dry years, but
