| 0:28.6 | So earlier I offered a practice note of to notice your relationship to thinking when you recognize, oh yeah, I've been lost in thought. |

| 0:52.0 | But this shift in relationship to our thinking can be so powerful, can make a big |

| 1:00.6 | There might be this subtle way in which we've set up this little battle against thoughts |
| 1:06.1 | and somehow we're trying to get rid of them. |
| 1:09.6 | Instead of just acknowledging, yep, thoughts happen. |
| 1:13.6 | They arise. We don't make them arise and we don't make them go away. They just arise and pass away on their own. |
| 1:21.6 | And can we have a friendly attitude towards them? Yep, this is what's happening. |
| 1:28.3 | There's the sound of the train sometimes. |
| 1:30.3 | There's thoughts sometimes. |
| 1:32.6 | Can we neutralize them? |
| 1:36.1 | I don't want to say that thoughts are bad |
| 1:38.6 | and I don't want to say that they're not helpful. |
| 1:41.3 | But when we're meditating, |
| 1:43.4 | we're just choosing an anchor and we're staying with that, |
