is Iraq. And as he left, the Chinese issued a statement about Taiwan.

Strategic ambiguity has been our policy for 40 years. And that is to say, American presidents

do not comment on what they would do

in a hypothetical scenario about Taiwan. And this week, Democrats and Republicans reacted to a

Virginia state Supreme Court decision that invalidated Democrats' efforts to redistrict the state.

It will be enormously messy because, you know, you've suddenly got a lot of members, Republicans in California, Democrats in Florida, who are running in districts that are not the districts that they've represented in some instances for years and years and years.

This is the Fox News rundown from Washington. The president's trip to Beijing began with a large celebratory welcome outside the Great Hall of the People, a military marching ceremony and band, singing children, and Chinese officials greeted President Trump, who then walked up a

red carpet to meet China's President Xi Jinping. When I first came here, China was really taken

advantage of the United States. He understands that. And now we do great with China. And we have a

very good relationship. We have a friendship, really. After his first meeting, he sat down

with Fox's Sean Hannity. So what has happened, and one thing I think that we're going to make a deal on,

they've agreed they want to buy oil from the United States. They're going to go to Texas. We're going to

start sending Chinese ships to Texas and to Louisiana and to Alaska. When asked about what China might do for the U.S., he said there was an agreement to buy more

U.S. soybeans and purchase as many as 200 Boeing jets. On Air Force One after the trip, he was asked

about she's offered to help on Iran in any way. I'm not asking for any favors, because when

you ask for favors, you have to do favors in return.

We don't need favors.

China's foreign ministry put out a statement saying the Taiwan question is the most important

issue in U.S.-China relations, that if it's handled properly, the relationship will be stable.

If not, the two countries will have clashes, even conflicts.
