President Trump strikes a Gaza peace deal that was months in the making.

I think it's a big achievement for them to get the hostages home,

and then there are still some sticking points on how you basically rebuild a terror-free Gaza.

A historic week in the Middle East is so far translating into a big win for the White House

with even bigger hopes for the future of the region.

Even once the war inside Gaza is over, there still is the question of how Israel will deal

with the Houthis in Yemen, how they'll deal with offshoots of terror in the West Bank,

still from Hamas and Islam and jihad that will continue to exist.

Hostages held in Hamas captivity in Gaza for more than two years are expected to be released as a peace agreement takes hold.

President Trump announced a historic deal ending the war in Gaza was reached by Hamas and Israel.

Israeli forces are already starting to withdraw from Gaza,

and much-needed humanitarian aid is surging into the war-battered territory. Hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, in some cases, serving life sentences, are also being released.

Reaching the agreement was full of fits and starts. Last month, President Trump unveiled

a 20-point peace plan, a comprehensive proposal that ultimately is intended to lead to a
