National Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. I'm Mark Stout historian who served for 13 years

as an analyst in the U.S. Intelligence community.

Every month, the museum brings you interesting talks with authors,

scholars, and practitioners who has something to do with the world of

intelligence and espionage.

We're joined today by Professor David Barrett. He's a professor of political science at Villanova University and among other things, the author of the very highly regarded book of the CIA and Congress,

the untold story from Truman and Kennedy, which came out in 2005.

We're here to discuss actually his latest book, which he co-authored with Max Holland,

and just as an aside aside many of you will recall

that we recently interviewed Max Holland here at the museum in connection with his book on

Mark Bells also known as Heathrow. But today the subject is going to be Barrett and Holland's new book, Blind Over Cuba,
