This is, well, from the Vault.

It's an episode about Mary Jane Kelly, the fifth and final

canonical victim of the serial killer known as Jack the River.

So this episode's going to be a bit different from the other four you've listened to, if you

have listened to the previous in the series because we

don't know that much about Mary Jane Kelly's life and what we do know is dubious for a lot of

it and so we have this and I haven't really talked specifically about the deaths of many of the victims

because I wanted to focus on their lives.

But in this, my friend Melissa Ratliffe, her and I have a very deep discussion regarding

Mary Jane Kelly because out of all the victims her death makes the least sense in the scenario but i'm not going to say

this here you're going to find out when you listen to the episode but we were there one day and one of

the girls in the in the kitchen was like where's Emily? What's Emily? Like,

and everyone's like, who the fuck is Emily? Like, who is this Emily person she keeps talking about?

She thought my name was Emily. So I ended up with this, um, American persona called Emily.

And Emily has vocal fry. And Emily pronounces words incorrectly.

I mean, I know I pronounce words incorrectly because of my accent. But Emily loves these jalapinos and the tortillas. Like, Emily's so white. I mean, I know I'm white, but, like, Emily is so white.

I had such a good time.
