The term ick is a fairly new trend.

So for those that don't know what ick is, Abby, what is?

It is so much more than a turnoff.

It's a seemingly obscure thing that somebody does that kind of turns you off from them,

but in more of like a cringe way.

Like it's not necessarily something they're doing on purpose. It's just something that kind of makes you go, ugh. Like if I'm out with a guy and his shoes keep coming on tied. Mm-hmm. I'm not necessarily a turnoff, but I'm kind of like, mm-hmm. How are you as a grown man not tying your shoes? I saw one woman said any guy running with a backpack the way it bounces up and down. relationship's kind of over. Yeah, it seems superficial, but it really just kind of makes you look at that person in a different light. Okay, I'm starting to realize that it can happen in any relationship. It can happen in a friendship. It can happen while you're dating. One woman on Instagram, Abby sent this, says that it can't, legally, it can't happen when you're married.
