With over 52 million acres, the US National Park system is home to some of the most breathtaking natural features on the planet. Tens of millions enjoy the parks every year. While most visits end with an amazing memory, many have not. The official NPS cold case count stands at 29, however, independent researchers estimate between 1100 to 1600 unsolved disappearances originate in our parks.
