Welcome to the Breakaway Podcast, a Bible study recorded on the campus of Texas A&M. We hope you enjoy the talks and stick around for more at the end. Well there's a tradition that takes place around here at this time every year and the tradition is one we all participate in.

It is the tradition of introduction, of introducing ourselves to each other.

and for you freshmen, you know this started at orientation.

and they put an upperclassman in front of you.

And many of you just marveled at how fluidly that young man could introduce himself to you

And so he would just pace across the stage and say,

I'm a biomedical science major from the booming metropolis of Round Rock, Texas

I'm a fighting Texas Aggie class of 2013.

And you would listen to him do that and you go,

You're like, man, that guy could just roll off essential data about himself.

And then you go to fish camp, an impact, an orientation, and campus. And about midway through this week, even now, after you've introduced yourself for the billionth time to somebody,

You just introduce yourself to people over and over again throughout this entire first week of school.

Breakaway is a non-denominational Bible study that exists to help any and every college student take either their first or next step with Jesus Christ. Every Tuesday night of the semester, thousands of college students gather to worship and hear God’s Word taught on the campus of Texas A&M University. Breakaway is in a unique position to reach the next generation of leaders worldwide with the truth and hope of Jesus.
