Sitting across the table today from Major General Mike Ennis, retired from the Marine Corps.

General Ennis is a graduate of Concordia College where he got his bachelor's degree and from Georgetown where it is his

master's and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Marines in 1972.

In 1978 he went and joined the Foreign Area Officer Program, became a Russian FAYO, as it's called,

served in a variety of positions both in the Pacific and in Europe, including in the United States military liaison mission in Germany.

He was an attache in Moscow, a U.S. military representative to Azerbaijan, a variety of other positions.

And the last two positions he held in the government,

which will be the subject of our interview today,

was at DIA, as head of Defense Hument and then as the first Deputy Director for Community Human Intelligence with the National Clandestant Service over at CIA. Today General Ennis is retired and he retired from the government
