Welcome to a new episode of the weekly sports show. It's me, Pepper. We have such a fun episode for you this week and so much to cover as we're coming off the heels of the biggest fashion event of the year, the Met Gala.

Naduery Kennedy keeps doing amazing things and we get to hear from Sarah Gordon. Well, let's start by diving into the Rebel Report.

Everyone, let's give a huge round of applause to Cherie DeVoe,

who became the first female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby last weekend.

Her horse, Golden Tempo, won a name, by the way,

put it in full gear to win against all odds.

Cherise started her stable eight years ago, and this was her first year running a horse

at the Kentucky Derby. There are so many POV videos that were watching the race. You can see

the excitement and disbelief all at once. I have replayed that video a million times at this point. It's incredible.

In softball, we had the AUSL draft where Tennessee pitcher Carlin Pickens was the number one overall

pick by the Carolina Blaze. Texas Tech Ace, Nigeria Kennedy, was selected second by the Texas

Volts, and Belmont's Maya Johnson was drafted third overall by the Oklahoma City Spark.

And as a softball player myself and fan of all three of these ladies, I just am so grateful

I don't have to be their opponent in the batting box with them pitching because they are so talented and also very intimidating.

Now on to Rebel of the Week, where we highlight women that inspire and motivate us to embrace

our inner Rebel.

We are in the thick of Formula One season, which I've been learning a lot more about, and

we wanted to highlight Dorian Pond who became the first woman to test

a Mercedes Formula One car and the first woman to drive an F1 car since Aston Martin's Jessica

Hawkins in 2023.

The 22-year-old French woman began carting when she was only nine years old, which is amazing.

I'm 15 and I haven't even touched the wheel of a car.
