What was it like when you started to see recurring compound?

Because I'm starting to now see that for the first time in my career.

The last six months, we changed everything to recurring.

And I'm like, oh, yeah, this is nice.

Yeah.

Yeah, it was awesome.

In the early days, one, I don't want to say there wasn't a lot of compounding,

but what I learned early on was

selling software and any recurring subscription really is a lot different and a lot harder than selling

one time. It's a totally different animal. Yeah. It costs more to require those people. You've got

to sell them differently. Yeah, everybody's like, I want recurring. Yeah. Like in theory,

yeah. The business is worth more. It's awesome. But everything is harder on the front end.

Yeah. And people have to actually not just want what you have, but need it. And use it. And use it. That's it need it. Like in a, in the course world, someone could want my baseball training video and buy it

because they just want it. Or to learn real estate investing. Yeah. So it so that for from 2014 to

2018 really are we didn't ads which paid media is like my background. That's what I'm really good at.

I could not get it to work for four or five years. Wow. But you stayed with it. You were like,

I believe this is like the thing. Yeah. Even though it's not working. Yeah. Like my kind of favorite thing,

and it's kind of my job now in the business, is to solve the unsolvable problem.

Like, I love, I don't like something that takes four years to solve, ideally, but I like something that's tough.

And yeah, I mean, we were, you know, I was kind of pot committed at that point, putting millions of dollars into this thing.

You're making less than what you were making in the baseball thing out of matter, or the follower thing. Oh, yeah.
