I was cooking for the office today, and I decided I need to wear something festive. And even though, it's very appropriate. different you're going to hear some music you're going to hear from somebody local and we're not

always doing local as much anymore but this is going to be good. Her name is Maggie Marr. She's a local songwriter. She just came out with the EP called Miss Paranoia. I heard some of her stuff on Facebook and Instagram and things like that. And I thought, I've got to have this girl in here. So, yeah, so she's here. and she's going to probably play guitar for us at some point. Hi, Maggie. Hi. Thank you so much for having me.

You're very welcome. I'm glad you can make it. Of course. Yes, yes. So this is just amazing because I know we know a lot of people in common now. We figured out. Yeah. You know, we know the McFadz, Maggie and Molly and Mark and Susan and it's incredible. And I thought, wow, how did I not know this before through social media? But you went to school with them. I did. Yeah, I went to Catholic school with them. We all went to Immaculate Conception Academy. Yeah. Unbelievable. Let's get into your music. So you just came out with this EP. It was June 20th that it came out. So it was not too long ago. And it's called Miss Paranoia. Tell me about this because I know you went to L.A. to record some of these things. Tell me how you got into this and where it's going right now. Yeah. So I started, I guess, my musical journey,

like when I was super young, of course. But writing and music have always been very separate

for me. Also, I had the worst stage fright. Yeah, that's the part that I couldn't understand.

Well, not understand. I get it. Because I think everybody does have a little bit of that, obviously. But I think you have to work through it, especially if you want to be a musician. Oh, for sure. Because that wouldn't work well singing in your closet. I mean, that doesn't work so well. Unless you're a studio musician, which you could do, you know. Yeah. So you started young.
