When I graduated high school, I went back to Puerto Rico. I stayed there for like a month or two with my mom just to visit and stuff. And there was a kid there. He was about maybe 14 or 15. Where we grew up in Puerto Rico was a pretty bad area. But you could tell that at that point of his life, he was in the middle of like choosing a side. So it's either he's going to go left or he's going to go right. So fast forward a couple years later and my mom calls me like, hey, you remember Yompe?

So we had none other than John Perez on the show last week,

and it kind of came up in the course of conversation that his

best friend Brandon Hernandez played a big part in his life. So we decided to get him on this week.

Actually, Brandon decided to get himself on this week. He just texted me after hearing John's

episode and said, when can I record? And he ended up in here, what, three hours later on the studio couch recording the episode? Yeah, no problem. And sure enough, Brandon's brother, Mr. Billy Alfaro, is going to be on next week. So we kind of took something from one episode, one week to three.
