recording this on Wednesday and there is some news here to report it does appear

that we are likely to get a stimulus bill oh my god gosh it only took them let's

think August September October November God, gosh it only took them, let's think, August, September, October, November, just five months to do this.

That's it, five months.

Some reporting out of DC by some of my colleagues at CBS News that really does start to lend some credence to the fact that

there is something going to be done. So here's what it looks like. We don't know exactly,

but this is what's taking shape.

So essentially it's about $900 billion.

There will be an extension of unemployment benefits from the federal government, about $300 per person,

looks like 16 weeks of additional coverage, which is great because clearly the economy is not going to change very dramatically in the next four months.

We're going to have people who are sidelined. And it does look like there's going to be one of those

stimulus checks.

The amount, I'm interested.

I mean, everyone had thought it was going to be 1,200,

but now it does look like it's going to be $600 per person. No mention here about anything for kids, so we'll have to see about that.
