I was 22 when I was first in charge of it.

Right?

So I'm listening to your audio book this morning and you're like, they put me in charge.

I graduate for college.

They put me in charge of a nuclear reactor.

The good news is it comes with a manual.

Yeah.

I'm walking up a hill, cracking up.

There are people, I'm sure, driving by me going, this guy's nuts, right?

And so when I left the Navy, my dad called me a fool, right?

And he said, all you got to do is stick around for another 15 years and you get a retirement.

And I'm like, dad, you don't understand.

My marriage will not last another deployment.

And so then when I left

corporate America to go selling orthopedics, he called me a dang fool or words to those

effect because he was like, you can't take a straight commission job right there. Promote.

I think promote in marketing is sort of got a bad name.

I like to use the word evangelize, right?

If you've got passion for what you're doing, right?

You want to evangelize the category.

You want to evangelize your current clients and tell their stories, right?

And really get that out there.
