I'm in the studio with Andy Green and we're going to be talking about a musical institution that actually looks like it's in pretty good shape compared to the Recording Academy in that it's not actively on fire. I'm sure we'll get to the Grammy's Mess in a future episode in the

relatively near future, but for now we're actually going to talk about the

Rock and Roll Hall Fame which is going through its own growing pains but it has a

pretty solid class of 2020 which is 9-inch nails

to Pesh Mode the Duby brothers Whitney Houston the notorious B. I. G. and T-Rex.

And Andy Green spoke to some of them, some of the ones who are alive and

we're going to play some of his interviews and we're going to talk about the

acts themselves and the state of the Hall of Fame and all of that.

But I thought we'd start with Andy's conversation with Mr. Trent Reznor who was in a very

good mood and I know you never spoke to him before and you weren't sure what to expect from

Trent Reznor.

Yeah I mean I had never spoken to Trent as you say and I was expecting a sort of more

gloom and doomed kind of guy but he was honestly happier about it than members of the
