When Phillip Stutts was still in his 30s, he was diagnosed with achalasia — a rare disorder of the esophagus that makes eating almost impossible and that typically affects people in their 60s, 70s, and 80s. It would have been very easy for Phillip to throw up his hands and give up. After all, there's NO cure for achalasia. But that's not what Phillip did. Instead, he resolved to not only defeat his condition, but to find a cure — something most medical professionals think is impossible. 1:25.6	Well the diagnosis was in 2012 I probably had this disease well before that and
1:30.9	I think you know as even said I probably had it for years and years and there was a
1:34.4	deficiency so I have echolasia which is an esophageal disease where basically the muscle and you know this
1:39.7	the muscles and the nerves in my esophagus do not work.
