Welcome to The CEO Teacher® Podcast!Â
Today’s podcast is super vulnerable, but it is an important piece to my puzzle and it would be wrong of me to leave it out. You see, this is a place I don’t often like to visit, but I know that someone needs to hear this.
It wasn’t always like this. I fell into the darkest moments of my life after my second pregnancy. I was a child raising children. I was lost and holding on for dear life. I quit eating, sleeping and went through life in a boring routine.
Teaching was the light in my day that took my mind off of my depression. I found joy in a new lesson, a new book, and the time spent connecting with my students. Teaching was my escape.
Then, I discovered something huge. Something that would change it all for me. I found a website called Teachers Pay Teachers.
Join me today as I turn back time and show you how I moved from depression to determination.
In this episode you will learn:
About my journey of becoming a mom.
My struggle with postpartum depression.
How I found myself, got my life in order and went after my dream.
