up. Before we pray for him, I want to mention that Mark and Sharon, Sharon's on our worship team.

Please keep them in prayer. They're in Alaska now for Sharon's brothers memorial service,

who was tragically killed in a plane crash. They're in Alaska. So please keep Sharon, Mark, and the family

in your prayers as the Lord puts it on your heart. The reason I'm going to have Pastor Matt come up

is because tomorrow he goes in for a full hip replacement surgery. So we want to pray that everything goes well, that the surgery is successful,

and that he is able to return because I have a lot of work for him to do.

And the Lord knows I need him.

So anyway, I just wanted to ask you if you would join with me as we pray for Pastor Mac.

Loving Heavenly Father, we're so thankful to you for Pastor Mack and for just bringing him back to the islands and here into our fellowship.

Lord, he's been such a blessing to me personally and so many others as well.

Lord, tomorrow when he goes in, would you just guide the hands of the team that is going to be doing the surgery, that everything goes

well, smoothly, swiftly, and successfully. Lord, would you have the recovery be speedy and have him

return as soon as possible back to the church. Lord, we pray your blessing on him

and we thank you for him in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Thank you for bless you. Thank you so much.

All right. Let's get into the word. Ephesians chapter 5, our text will be verses 8 through 14.

I'll have you turn there if you're not there already, and once you do, if you're able, I'll ask you to stand.

We'll begin in verse 8 where the Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit is writing to the church in Ephesus and says,

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.

Live as children of light.

For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.

And find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do, verse 11, with the fruitless deeds
