I think that when identity gives you language for who you are and then it connects you with others.

For example, I could say that I am strong, right?

They're pros and cons to that.

ask for help, then that's when it becomes more of an identity versus just a label, right? Like,

I can say, like, I'm a runner, for example. And maybe sometimes identifying as a runner means that I know how to push through because we do have those moments where you just have to push through.

But if you see yourself as a runner, that subject versus object, then you're probably going to be just pushing through life at all times and not necessarily knowing when to slow down.

So I think that that is the difference.
