Summary

Growing up in a chef family and trained in France, Alejandro Oropeza developed an intuitive understanding of food as a cultural artifact. This foundation equipped him with a unique lens to recognize an untapped opportunity: when people consume food content, they experience genuine hunger and desire for action. This insight led him to build flavrs, a verticalized social media platform that transformed passive content consumption into active commerce through shoppable video experiences, allowing chefs to share their narratives and cultural heritage with national audiences.
