My host, Christian Piles, joined today by J.D. Raider and Ben Funky Ascran, and they didn't news dump us.

They could have waited till Thursday at 11 a.m. and we'd have been hosed.

But the University of Oklahoma, Lou Rizzelli, they parted ways yesterday, which sets up a pretty,

man, a full show for us.

Plenty to talk about with the departure of Lou Rizzelli.

If you hadn't heard Lou Rizelli out as the head coach of Oklahoma, he's resigned officially.

And it's huge news.

And it was huge news in 2016 when Mark Cody was out.

And this was a job that people were really excited about.

And just since my time really closely following college wrestling, there's always just

been this thought or this idea that Oklahoma is a sleeping giant, right right and because it has had substantial success it is in a

wrestling state with deep tradition and roots in the sport and it's a team that has got trophies

at the NCAA it's it's succeeded at a high level.

And now it's interesting because things change fast in the sport, right?

And you're at a point now where, you know, 10 years ago,

if you had said, oh, Virginia Tech and NC State are better jobs than Oklahoma, you would have been laughed at.

That would have been a silly sentence to utter.

And now we're at a point where it's like, man, would Tony Roby and Pat Popple leaves you even consider leaving their posts for Oklahoma?

Would they even entertain a conversation?

And so it's funny how quickly things can change and how the reality of a program. So now I think we're left with, what is the actual potential of Oklahoma?
