But I was down the local grocery store here in New Zealand at the time of recording. This is our last day of

lockdown in effect and I'm just excited to report that I saw a run-in happen between

a woman and a couple, a man and a woman who obviously hadn't seen each other for many weeks, and they saw each other, and it was so familiar. It sort of predates COVID-19. There was like a

mutual recognition, more enthusiasm from the couple than the young woman and they said oh wow hi nice to see you and I

watched like this very dreary sort of catch-up conversation take place and then for the first time

in a long time in about two months I heard someone say to two people she

visibly did not want to catch up with wow I mean we'll have to catch up properly

again soon now that we can. And I was like, life finds away.

Guy, that's disgusting that you watched that happen. That was a person or three people depending on how everyone truly did feel about it,

just trying to navigate their way through the social niceties of seeing people after an absence and it's the dance we do.
