It's a privilege to call Jesus our friend to know him intimately as a close companion.

In part one of today's message we learned that friendship with Jesus lifts us to a level we could not reach without him.

We didn't choose him, he chose us. And friends of Jesus become friends with each other. He is our common

What a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to

carry everything to him in prayer. The best friend anyone ever had and ever has

is the Lord Jesus Christ.

There are basically five things that I see as I look in this passage of scripture

and I pray God will write them upon your heart.

And the first is the elevating, the elevating consequence of friendship with Jesus. Friendship with Jesus
