John Chapter 15 in a moment I'm going to begin reading in verse 12. Some years ago when Joyce and I were quite young,

we had a little baby boy to die and Joyce and I never faced death before that afternoon as we drove to our hometown to make preparation for the funeral. We had to drive about 65 miles.

And as we drove that 65 miles, we sang and pray.

One of the songs that we sang over and over again that 65 miles from Fort Pierce to West Palm Beach was,

what a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to

carry everything to him in prayer. It was true then, it is true now, it was

true for me, it'll be true for you. The best friend anyone ever had and ever has is the Lord Jesus Christ.
