Do you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesdays with Trey. I vividly remember staring at the

posting on the wall at the law school in Columbia, South Carolina. It read U.S. District

Court Judge and Anderson, South Carolina seeks law clerk.

Requirements top 1% of law school class, law review, and excellent writing skills. I think in 1989, a stamp cost a quarter, so I decided

to invest or waste, depending on your perspective, that that quarter even though I literally did not meet any of the three

requirements that judge listed not a single one and that is not false modesty that is an objectively provable fact all three of them are objectively provable

but I got a call back and I drove to Anderson for the interview and I sat in the room outside the judge's office and talked with his administrative assistant Darlene Hopper and then I met with the federal judge whose name was G. Ross Anderson Jr. and I

mumbled and fumbled my way through the interview and headed back to

Columbia. At least I can say I interviewed with a federal judge.

That's something, not much, but at least I could go back to Columbia and at least tell my brand new wife that I interviewed for a job with a federal judge.
