Today, I'm going to be bringing you a quick update on some of the stories that I've been

speaking of and thinking of over the last week.

Now, we have the first update stemming from the Crisis Magazine article from two days ago,

written as an op-ed piece, and what's the best way of putting it, Steph?

How should we address that article that was written two days ago?

It was anti-ask-your-husband, which is Steph's book, and implicitly.

It was anti-case-for-patriarchy, which is my book.

Steff's book and my book, specifically on the topic of the marital debt.

The argument of this article was essentially that the truth about what the church discloses about marital debt doesn't really matter.

And you're weird if you bring it up. And the only named expositor of that worldview, the idea that the conjugal debt, the marital

debt, that both husband and wife have to render to each other the conjugal act upon

really any request.

The argument is you're a weirdo if you believe in the longstanding, unalterable,

immutable Catholic teaching, which is a funny response to take, and it's a wrong response to

take. And we were surprised to see it come from crisis. And I reached out to this man. His name was Adam Lucas, the author. His

name is Adam Lucas, the author of the crisis article criticizing Steph's book from Wednesday.
