Uncle Sam is setting up camp and getting cozy on his trip into unprecedented legal territory.

Special counsel Dave Weiss's office announced that it will seek to indict President Joe Biden's

son Hunter by the end of the month for possessing a firearm while on narcotics.

A previous plea deal to clear his legal woes fell apart in July. Hunter's attorneys say they

expect a fair resolution to the five-year investigation based on the evidence, not outside political

pressure. Meanwhile, at least two of former President Trump's co-defendants in George's

Rico case have had their trial set for October 23. Prosecutors are pushing to try the other

17 defendants, including Trump at the same time, but the judge called that a bit unrealistic.

Prosecutors say the trial will take four months and include 150 witnesses.

That timeline does not include jury selection, which could last months on its own.

Whether justice is served or miscarried in American courts, we can count on perfect justice and

inexhaustible mercy from the courts of heaven. The Lord is not swayed by the power and wealth that

tempts us toward partiality, and his verdicts restore what sin has broken. Isaiah 30 verse 18 says,
