The House's Republican-led impeachment inquiry into President Biden began yesterday.

The House Oversight Committee spent time educating the public on what an impeachment inquiry

is and outlining evidence that the president abused his public office for his family's financial

gain. They highlighted documents released by an IRS whistleblower that show payments from foreign

entities to Hunter Biden and rehash testimony that then VP Joe Biden joined his son's

business calls to exchange pleasantries and sell the family brand. Three subject matter experts,

including a forensic accountant, shared testimony. Democrats seemed unimpressed and are adamant

that Republicans have failed to provide evidence connecting Joe Biden to the payments and

criticized Republicans for holding the inquiry instead of working to avoid the looming government

shutdown. The White House simply called the hearing a baseless stunt.

The world has different priorities than God does, and many eternally insignificant things are

compelling for a season. Investigations into people named Biden or Trump may not be wrong to follow,
