And you take a lot of ownership of what you know about the bills and a lot of their players. Just give us like a temperature. Stick that little thing in your ear and just tell us what you feel about the bills right now. I said last week, they look bored. And teams that aren't that great have no right to look bored. If you're the Jordan Bulls or the Brady Patriots or the Mahomes Chiefs, like, I get it. We went all the time. I was a little tired of this. They look bored. They look lackadaisical. And the one thing we all wanted from Buffalo, like, can you please open and drive |
| 1:10.9 | touchdown? Big play. Get out the gates. They did not get out the gates last night. But you know what? |
| 1:16.7 | They got to win. Let's hear from the QB1, whose hair is getting increasingly longer about his team |
| 1:23.0 | rebounding after a tough loss. We're just trying to go and want to0 each week. It's no difference in about halfway through this season. |
| 1:29.5 | Everything that we want is still in front of us. You know, you wish you were 8-0 at this point. You wish you're 7-1. You wish you're 6-2, and that's the reality of it is we're 5 and 3, but we're going to continue to take it one game at a time. You had talked about trying to set maybe a different tone, given where this offense has been and where you needed to get to tonight. |
| 1:46.1 | Did you succeed in that? |
| 1:47.3 | Take me inside that. Personally, I feel like I did, but I'll let you guys write about that if you think I did or not. All right. Personally, he feels like he did. So he thinks he set a different tone, and frankly, that's what matters to this offense. Allen put up solid numbers last night. |
| 2:01.5 | Again, it wasn't magical. |
| 2:02.8 | That was the word that we, it wasn't Fitzmagical, even though Fitzmagical wanted to happen for the bills last night. They got the win, and that's fine. Confidence level, though, and Josh Allen. Perhaps it's been restored. Jason, is that where you go with this win over the bus? I look at yesterday we went around the, and Kyle brought up the clip of him talking in the media and the low positive and how he ended in the last five seconds. Like, well, maybe I just need to go play football. And I think from that standpoint, there was more confidence in him of, you're watching that game. The second play of the game was a design quarterback run. and Josh Allen runs down the field and he goes and he slides. He goes down. Doesn't try to run anybody. |
| 2:37.5 | And last night I saw kind of that in between of I can be aggressive I can run but I'm also being smart and you'll say all right but he went into blue 10 he got banged up it was a regular fall for him it wasn't a bone crushing hit where he gets smashed and he gets up and you you're like, Josh, you got to be smarter. Run out of bounds. Go now. It tripped up his shoelaces and he fell and he just fell awkwardly on his shoulder that's been banged up. But I think from a confidence standpoint, what you saw last night was a little bit more of that fun, free-spirited Josh Allen of running around like you said, Kyle on the highlight, pump- faking 30 yards down the field where it just looks fun. And I think you're watching, you watched an offense last night that still wasn't the prolific and the offense that were used to see him from Buffalo, but they were able to make plays without Stefan Diggs having a huge game. He was consistent. He caught the ball when they threw it to him. But there were other guys that were able to step up, and James Cook is running a ball well, too. So I think that with the combination of the defense, it looked better. I don't want to say, all right, we're all there. This is the Buffalo Bill's office, but it looked better. Look, they haven't lost a game in that building all season. As bad as it is, they take care of business at home. He doesn't lose on Thursday night. He's undefeated on Thursday night. I talked about it in the start of the show and we rolled our eyes as a collective because I was talking about punting, but three punts inside the 10, their defense played well. They give up an 18-yard, an 18-play drive, which you never want to see, with Baker converting fourth down after fourth down. They got the win. I don't think we're ever going to talk about this game again after today. Like, this is Cincinnati week now. That was it. They got the win. |
| 4:01.5 | It wasn't pretty. It wasn't this is masterpiece. The energy in the building was fine. Like it's all, it's done. It's all about Cincinnati. You beat Cincinnati next week, going back to that place where that horrible, horrific event happened last year on Monday night. |
| 4:14.6 | If you can go back and win that game, now we're talking about the bills as a contender and all this stuff and they found the juice and they got to go. This game to me beating an out-of-conference team that came in limping down two games in a row. It's a good win. But like, I ain't doing any parades over the bills just yet. I got to see them against the big dogs because there's still too many head scratches in the first eight weeks of the season. |
