Good morning football. And all has been revealed. It's in ink. The paper is out. The schedule is set. 2023 NFL schedule. It's coming your way. Welcome inside. Good morning football live in New York City. It's Friday, May 12th. I'm Jamie Erdahl, Jason McCordy, where he usually is. Kyle Brandt as well, Sean O'Hare. Time for the lead block. The block. Schedule is out. We found out last night that we'll have to wait until the final game of the first week of the season to see Aaron Rogers with the Jets, take the field for the first time during the regular season. Obviously, we've seen videos him in social media, no pads on, no nothing, but it's a Monday night football game against the

bills. Here's head coach Robert Sala on that primetime matchup against Buffalo.

You're always going to prepare to play your division opponents early. You know, we've been

doing a lot of all-season studying on our division opponents anyway and to get them first. Not that it doesn't matter, but like I said, whoever was going to show up on that schedule first, we're going to do our best to prepare. And just so happens to be Buffalo, who's an unbelievable football team. They've got an unbelievable quarterback, great coaching staff, great defense. And, you know, year after year, they're going to be in the

conversation for the world championship. So it's a great first game.

That's it. You find out a lot when you open up in your division. Here's the full week one schedule

culminating in, as we said, highly anticipated Jets Bills matchup. Other highlights include, though,

the season opener, Lions Chiefs in Kansas City on Thursday night.

And then Bryce Young's first career start on the road in Atlanta.

C.J. Stroud against Lamar Jackson, Anthony Richardson, against Trevor Lawrence,

Jordan loved Justin Field and Jimmy Garoppolo in his different uniform against a,

well, Russell Wilson is hoping a different team under his new head coach, Sean Peyton. You can pick anything off this list and there is a compelling storyline. And that's what we love about football, is that you can suss it out if you need to. We have to pick, though, which week one matchup do you think will be the most revealing Kyle about the team?

They're all so tasty.

They are. They are. Can I have a dessert menu please? And here it is. I'll just take them all. This is fascinating to me because I talked to Josh Allen on Wednesday before any of this came out. And we knew it was coming out and I got to talk to him like, so stock question. As a player, when the schedule comes out, what's the first thing that you look at?

Stock question, but he gave the most Josh Allen answer ever, which now is actually kind of ominous knowing what you know. This is Wednesday when he had no idea what the schedule is going to be. This is how it went. What is the first thing that you look for when a schedule drops? Game one. Game one. And that's it. How come? It's the most important one.

First one is the most important one.

The next one is the most important one.

That's all I can worry about.
