| 0:34.1 | praise reports, people telling of what God has done in their lives and giving thanks. |

| 0:43.8 | I know there are many needs that we'll be praying for, but overshadowing the need that we have in life |
| 0:50.0 | is the fact that through our faith in Jesus Christ and through the death, burial, and resurrection |
| 0:57.9 | of Jesus, we have great reason to give thanks to our God because he has committed himself to us |
| 1:05.8 | and he has made himself our father and our king and our provider and everything that we need. |
| 1:13.5 | So we can take a moment to calm our hearts. |
| 1:16.1 | We can take a moment to rest in the confidence that he is caring for us and he will continue to care for us. |
| 1:24.5 | So I want to encourage you, let's go into our time of prayer today with that kind of an |
| 1:29.3 | attitude and perspective. Okay, we have 10 or 11 requests today, and we have a handful that are |
| 1:36.7 | anonymous today. So please pray with me for these people, not just those who are anonymous, but everyone. Pray with me for their circumstances, |
| 1:47.5 | putting yourself in their shoes, asking the Holy Spirit to give you the right perspective and |
| 1:52.3 | empathy to intercede for them in significant ways. Prayer changes things. God has ordained it to be so. |
| 2:00.1 | And so we are entering into his work together. |
| 2:03.1 | Let's pray. Lord, we are so grateful today. There's so much to be grateful for. You are a king, |
| 2:12.3 | you are a Lord, you are a Savior, you are a master. We humble our hearts and we bow before you right now. |
