Hello, my friends. Welcome back to another pray together episode. We have a tremendous privilege

before us today as every Friday when we do these prayer together episodes. And that privilege is we

get to come into the presence of God Almighty, enter into his throne room of grace to find help

and strength in our time of need.

That's what the writer of Hebrews promises us that happens when we pray, and we're able to do that

because of the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Today we're going to do so by interceding

for friends that we don't know. We've never met, but these are brothers and sisters

in Christ who have needs and have asked us to pray. So join me in praying for these brothers and

sisters. And I will share with you at the end of this episode how you can share your prayer request

with us to be included on the next Pray Together episode.

Father, we come to you today, knowing that you are a good and gracious God who answers prayer.

We come to you knowing your faithfulness, knowing your strength and your power,

knowing that your sovereign will rules overall.

And we come not really understanding how our prayers affect all of that, but knowing that you've promised us that when we pray in faith, according to

your will, you will answer. And so today we come and we ask you first of all to help us pray,

help me pray according to your will. Help me know that in

every situation, whether I'm aware of it or not. Help me to pray so that my prayers are effective.

We start out praying for our sister Jessica, who is asking us to pray that she and her husband

would have a way to purchase a home when their current lease is up,

and that they would have a job that allows for a better work-life balance so that she can

spend more time with her family. Lord, I know it is your will, according to the scripture,

for Jessica to be busy at home with her family, to love her husband and her children,
