Hello, my friends. Welcome back to another Friday, Pray Together episode. This is our opportunity to take the needs and praises and concerns of our brothers and sisters in Christ before the throne of grace. I don't know how you've approached prayer throughout your life, but for me, it's been a practice that I've had to learn over

time, and I find myself particularly able to pray well when I'm praying for other people.

I don't know why that is. Maybe my mind's not wondering as much because I have specific details in

front of me, but whatever it is, I want to encourage you engage in this process of prayer today. As you listen to the

episode, just resonate with the requests in your heart and pray as the Spirit leads you about

that situation. We have a number of requests today, and I want to encourage you to take this

seriously, your prayers matter. Our prayers together matter. The God of heaven has commanded

us to pray as his sons and as his daughters to bring our concerns to him. And as we do that,

he is able to answer and he will do his very best will in these situations. All right, we're going to

dive in beginning with a request from. All right, we're going to dive in, beginning

with a request from Courtney. Lord, we lift up our sister Courtney to you. We're so thankful that

she's dependent on you for her needs and is taking her concerns to you in prayer. I'm thankful

she recognizes you as the all-sufficient, all- all powerful one who can do something about this

situation. And in her situation, she's had back surgery recently and she's been in the hospital

for two months. Father, I can't imagine being in a hospital for that long. And she has not

recovered as expected. She's paralyzed from the waist down. Courtney says she's scared.

She's 32 years old and she's praying for healing and for the provision of the medical

equipment she needs to rehabilitate and to gain function in her legs. Father, we just ache with

Courtney. Those of us who are mobile, we just can't imagine what

that would be like to lose the function of your legs. And, Father, we don't know the reason for this

back surgery or what the situation was, but Lord, we ask that you would restore the function of her

legs in your divine power, Lord, that you would do that in Jesus' name,
