Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday over his compromises on the temporary budget that

haveverted a government shutdown. Two main candidates are reaching for the

file Republicans is majority leader Steve Scalise, who's battling blood cancer but feels great.

House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan seems to have the confidence of the most conservative
