In Josea chapter number five, we're in a section here where the Lord again is calling out the leadership, repeating some things that they've heard,

but letting them know that ultimately your fall will be your fault. Your fall will be your fault.

Now look at Josea chapter 5 and verse number 6. When he says about these people of the northern kingdom of Israel,

they shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the Lord, but they shall not find

him. He hath withdrawn himself from them. So interestingly, the Lord says, there's coming a day when you will ostensibly

turn away from your idols and turn away from your sinful choices, and you're going to seek me.

You're going to bring your herds and your flocks, presumably, in sacrifice to me, but it's going to be too late.

It's going to be too late.

I have withdrawn myself, which tells me a couple things about the Lord's chastisement.

Number one, there is a line.
