What a joy it was to preach this series of messages at Faith Baptist Church on the book of

Nehemiah. I've entitled this series When God Interrupts Your Life, and I hope it's a great

encouragement to you and helps you to be a better servant of Jesus. God bless you, my friends.

If you're going to do anything for the Lord, anything at all for the Lord, it's going to be challenged.

That's just the way it is. The devil is not going to take lightly any endeavor for God,

whether that be your own personal growth in the Lord, your decision to begin

reading the Bible every day, a decision to begin to culture a life of prayer, a decision to begin

telling people about Jesus Christ, a decision to raise a godly family and enact some good biblical standards in your

home? I don't care what the decision is. If it's a decision for God that involves growing,

you can rush to shore that it's going to be challenged by the evil one. That's just the way it is.

As a matter of fact, the Bible says that we are not ignorant of his devices.

The Apostle Paul said when it comes to the devil, when it comes to the evil one,

we know that his tactics really have not changed much in 6,000 years.

Think about in the Garden of Eden how that he

simply questioned the word of God. He questioned the character of God. And the temptations that

he offered to Eve are very similar to the kind of temptations that you face today. The lust of the

flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life,

the world, the flesh, and the devil. The tactics of the enemy really have not changed.

We have found in our study of the book of Nehemiah that Nehemiah was called of God. God interrupted

his life. I love that. God interrupted his life. Am I willing to

allow God to interrupt my life? Even the good things that I'm doing, even the good path on which I'm
