Summary

Hosea 5:1-5 Behavior and works alone do not indicate a sincere faith, but there certainly are certain habits that we can practice that can fertilize a more ready turning to God. The people of Israel did not “frame their doings” to turn to God; rather, they allowed a heart bent toward idolatry and sensuality to guide their decision-making.

0:59.2	chapter five, rather, finished chapter four last episode. And I forgot to tell you, but the story of
1:06.4	Josea is really told in the first three chapters. And then in the ensuing chapters of the book of Hosea,
1:14.6	we have a collection of his sermons,
1:18.6	the ministry of Hosea.
1:21.6	You see panoramically in the scriptures that follow.
1:26.6	So here we are in Hebrews. Well, it starts with an
1:30.8	H at least, and I'm tired. Josea chapter number five. And at the risk of sounding like
1:39.5	a broken record, we're going to hear some of the same themes reiterated.
