It's Friday, May 31st, 2024. I'm Albert Moeller and this is the briefing. A daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview.

0:13.6

Usually on Friday would turn to matters of cultural importance and then we turn to questions.

0:18.8

That's what I had expected to do today, but not so.

0:21.8

And that's because yesterday Donald J Trump became the first

0:25.2

president or former president of the United States to be convicted of crimes and in this case

1:35.2

very important moment in American history and before we go any further we just

1:39.4

1:46.0

If someone has a spirit of celebration about what took place in that courtroom in Manhattan yesterday,

1:51.0

1:53.7
