tarmac here at LaGuardia Airport on one of the busiest travel days of the entire year. This American

jet here at Gate 24 Terminal B, that one's going to be flying to Chicago in just a few hours.

It's going to be full, just like the majority of the roughly 6,500 flights that America is going to be operating nationwide.

They're going to be transporting roughly three quarters of a million people, and that's just America, not to mention all the other carriers.

So the advice, of course,

on a day like today, get to the airport early.
