Friday the 13th Spooky. According to a new poll, 19% of people get nervous about a Friday the 13th.

Is that you? Today is Robert Pattinson's birthday. He's 36 years old. He was kind of a spooky Batman.

The movie The Crow is released on the state in 1994. That was definitely spooky.

There's a reboot of that happening with Bill Skarsgard.

And 18 years ago today, the show Frazier aired its final episode. That one's not so spooky.

But I don't know what to do with those tall salads and scrambled eggs.

All right, let's get into it. Always start with the top stories and again today and update out of Ukraine.

United Nations officials just released updated numbers. They say 14 million Ukrainians have been displaced and

3,500 have lost their lives since the invasion began and the fighting does continue.

Following yesterday's news of Finland attempting to join NATO, Russia warned that it will be, quote,

forced to take retaliatory steps if that happens.

Two countries share an 800 mile border and a Finland joint NATO. That would mean Russia would be neighbors with a country that is

formally aligned with the US and Putin does not like that.

Here in the US, the panel investigating the January 6th attack just made an unprecedented move.

They subpoenaed five Republican lawmakers, including House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy,

all of whom had been very vocal about overturning the results of the election.

Public hearings on this matter will begin June 9th.

Okay, on to some sports headlines now an update from the NBA, the Miami Heat,

are the first team to advance to the conference finals. They beat the 76ers last 999 to 90.
