Hello, my friends, good morning or whatever time of day it is for you.

Glad you joined us for the podcast today. We are in Galatians chapter two, as all of you faithful listeners already know.

If that's a shock to you, then you probably need to go back a few episodes and get started at the

beginning of the book of Galatians. But for those of us that have been here day by day,

we're in Galatians chapter 2 and verse 17. Paul is in the middle of a rebuke of Peter,

but it's a rebuke that's taking place in front of

a lot of people that have been influenced by Peter. So while he's teaching Peter, a really

important lesson, theological lesson about the gospel and the purity of the gospel, he's also teaching that lesson to the people

that are there watching this awkward confrontation. And he's also, because he's referencing

this story, teaching this to the Galatian believers that are being manipulated by and confused by the Judaizers.

And he's also teaching this to you and me.

And so here we are 2,000 years later through the miracle of modern technology talking

about it together.

And I want us to go back to verse 16 for just one moment

so that we'll be in context and then we'll slide right into our new verses for the day so galatians
