Hello and a warm, ever so slightly twinkly and starting to feel somewhat festive, welcome

to my Friday 5 podcast.

Now this is my weekly look at a few things that have caught my eye from the world of well-being.

And when I started the Friday 5 on the instruction of my eldest daughter, the technology was Lily

Earl, it was meant to be a quick highlight of five weekly topical things, but it has since

morphed into a slightly longer look at a few choice topics, always newsworthy, varied

and eclectic, but hopefully always of interest and able to either inspire or inform in a

positive and generally uplifting way.

So what have I prepared for you this week?

Well it's definitely midlife, female focus time as I wanted to pick up on the latest news

relating to the Easter gel HRT and Easter dot patch saga, as well as the news story relating

to poor Linda of Angelista, one of the original supermodels of the 1980s hailed as one of

the most beautiful women of all time, yet now living the life of a recluse seldom seen in public,

let alone on a magazine cover or a billboard, having suffered a rare reaction to an aesthetic

procedure, a caution retail for anyone, perhaps considering any form of non-essential cosmetic

surgery, and a reminder that even seemingly safe and commonplace procedures are never entirely

risk-free as they can and do sometimes go very wrong.

Well, here's to talk more about what happened in Linda's case and also more generally
