Hello and a very warm and festive welcome to this week's Friday 5,

beaming across the airwaves on Christmas Eve for those listening to me in real time.

And I do hope that you are having a very healthy and happy festive time.

And seeing as how it's so very nearly Christmas, and I can imagine that in homes across the lands,

there is much present-rapping, mince pie munching, seasonal travelling and a lot more going on

right now. So I thought that this week I would record a bit of a well-being Christmas family

special today, weaving in some of my own childhood reminisces with my brother Adrian,

the renowned conductor and musician. As we talk about the role music has to play in well-being,

especially when it comes to helping unlock memories and more for those with dementia and other
