tomorrow's the anniversary of when the U.S.

military started rounding up Japanese Americans in Washington,

forcing them into incarceration.

here are today's top stories. It's Friday, March 29th. It was last call on the budget for

Jay Inslee today. He signed the state budget into law for the

final time as governor. Jeannie Lindsay reports. As he signed the final bill of his time in office,

Governor Jay Inslee had a simple message. I will just say that we all love the Evergreen State, and long may she thrive.

He was signing off on changes to the state's budget.

The event took place in Seattle at the University of Washington's new behavioral health teaching hospital.

The budget includes roughly $20 million for the facility.

It also adds hundreds of millions of dollars for schools,

other behavioral health facilities, and housing. The governor vetoed a few parts of the budget,

including studies of election issues. Election workers already have plenty of other stuff to do this

year, but overall, Inslee left most of the budget approved by lawmakers intact.
