Here are today's top stories. It's Friday, June 21st. Another Seattle school year marred by community gun violence is coming to an end.

And district leaders are planning safety and security improvements for next year.

They're considering whether they should bring back school resource officers or close campuses during lunch.

A judge decided today to press pause on part of Washington's new Parents' Bill of Rights Law.

Civil rights groups are trying to get this law thrown out entirely. The plaintiffs say the measure undermines school-based support for LGBTQ youth.

Part of the law says schools must provide parents with records of students counseling and medical files
