Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Friday. This is Seattle now. This week, Boeing's CEO

Dave Calhoun got a drubbing by a Senate subcommittee. We found out more about how the company's been

operating lately. Students at least one middle school in Seattle will have to leave their phones

in a secure pouch to prevent scrolling during school hours. And beloved Seattle institution,

scarecrow video, needs our help again to keep the doors open. Seattle Times food writer

let's get you caught up. The man accused of shooting and killing a 17-year-old in a Big Five

parking lot in Renton will be in court Monday. Aaron Brown-Myers is

charged with second-degree murder and second-degree assault. Prosecutors say Hasrat Ali Rahani

was killed by Myers earlier this month after Myers assumed the teenager was about to commit a robbery.

According to the Kent reporter, surveillance footage captured of

the shooting contradicts Myers' statements in his interview with police. The number of traffic

fatalities and serious crashes in King County is going way up. The latest report from the King

County Prosecutor's Office shows a 143% increase in felony-level traffic crime cases from five years ago.

Investigators blame the spike on a rising number of DUI cases and people not wearing their seat belts.
